Epic FailEpic Fail by Claire LaZebnik
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

It's rare that a book title aptly describes the contents in a negative but non-ironic way. This book was an epic fail. Every incident was copied from Pride and Prejudice. And this is not an exaggeration. You see, even the names were uncreative.
Lead female- Elizabeth Bennet becomes Elise Benton, initials E.B in both cases and Elise is basically short for Elizabeth.
Lead male - Darcy becomes Derek. Same first letter, the same number of syllables.
Sister - Jane becomes Julianna, initials J.B.
Sister's intended - Charles becomes Chase, again almost same name.
The jerk suitor - Wickham is Westley, same first letter and number of syllables.

Annoying, gold digging mom; rational father; a beautiful mansion(not Pemberley, but whatever), annoying sister of boyfriend etc. There was next to zero work/creativity put in which is fine for a movie, but not a book.

The only difference is Miss LaZebnik created a male Mary Sue by removing from Derek's life, the one mistake Darcy made - trying to separate Chase/Charles and Julianna/Jane.
I am pretty sure this book should fall into the category of plagiarized, because if not, then anyone can "write"a book. Just add the elements of this age to classic stories and use oversimplified language.
